As part of the McHenry County Bar Association Law Day Events, Melissa (Wagner) Sedlacek had the opportunity to visit all of the 4th grade classes at Leggee Elementary School, in Huntley, Illinois, on April 19, 2024!

She shared about the exciting field of law with approximately 170 students! They discussed the importance of the Rule of Law in America, the three branches of government and the important role jury trials play in our legal system.

The students had rehearsed a mock trial of "The People v. Curly Pig" and the students had to decide whether "Curly Pig" was guilty of battery against "Big Bad Wolf". The students were excellent listeners and critical thinkers!
